Brain balancing

A whole brain approach

Brain Balancing is a whole-brain approach encompassing sensory-motor exercises, gentle chiropractic and healthy nutrition.

We strive to make both sides of your brain equally “up and running”, and talking to each other. Our integrated approach is based on “strengthening” the brain where we find the greatest need, and is drug-free.

Brain Balancing is a whole-brain approach encompassing sensory-motor exercises, gentle chiropractic and healthy nutrition.

The brain is built from the bottom up; meaning that stimulation coming from the body, sensations and movements activate and drive the brain. If you are sedentary and sitting for long hours at a time and seldom in contact with nature, it throws a wrench in this system. We are “animals” built to move and sense our environment, (by processing properly for example sounds, visual cues or smells).

In addition to optimizing the Posture System (Jean make a link to the neuro posture correction exercise page) and adjusting the spine, we strive to make both sides of your brain equally “up and running” and talking to each other. This integrated approach is based on “strengthening” the brain where we find the greatest need, and is drug-free.

The right hemisphere of the brain regulates impulsivity, attention, and socially appropriate behaviour. As an example, individuals who have a hard time paying attention or easily distracted or forget things, possibly need right brain stimulation exercises.

The left hemisphere controls learning and processing information. A person with decreased left-brain activity process information differently.  They may have difficulty with reading and writing, processing speech and language, be clumsy, frequently fall or bump into objects, or have an awkward way of walking, and grasping simple math.

Imbalances of the hemispheres can ultimately affect productivity, school performance, self-esteem and social relationships, to only name a few effects.
